Yeah I hear ya on the customs baby thing. But the embassy here told me (and I saw on the website) that the baby is an american citizen and after birth you can get an american passport, etc. But yeah Ariunaa will be tough, so we're going to try hard!

I would think it would be checkable. The thing is about the size of the average "home office" desk (28" wide x 40" long x 32" tall), and it folds up and collapses in upon itself to a prism of about 12" x 12" x 32" and weighs about 10-15 lbs. I could weigh it to get more precise if you wanted me to.

 

And you're absolutely right on the "baby is an American citizen" thing; no probs there. I wish you good luck and all the speed in the world for getting Ariunaa through the paperwork jungle.

I have good news and bad news. First, the good news...

It actually packs up to 10" x 10" x 32", so it should be just fine for the airline.

Now the bad news... Fawker weighs an awesome 24 pounds! Maybe that's why my packs always seem so heavy when I think that they're so light...

When would that be? Once the Offspring starts walking, there'll be hell to pay if'n you try to stick 'em in a playpen. These kinda things are only good until they figure out how to walk. That's about 14-16 months.
