Sky and I skied up to Assblaster Pass on Sunday. Heavy amounts of snow all the way from the Stuart Lake TH. Conditions on the lower trail consisted of variable crusts to deep unconsolided snow making for arduous trail breaking.

The north face of Dragontail is looking sweet as well as the TC's. we skied up to Assmblaster Pass in increasing heavy winds. At and above the pass the wind was blowing so hard it was difficult to not get blown over. Gusts were probably 100+mph and combined with all the blowing snow visibility was very difficult at times. We had hoped to ski off Dragontail but decided just to ski from Asgaard pass.

There is a ton of snow up there. Most of it above the lake is severely wind affected and in areas there are unstable windslabs.
