scott_johnston Posted December 25, 2005 Author Posted December 25, 2005 Slaphappy; Â Great coverage, 50cm of new on the morning of the 23rd. That was over a 50cm layer of faceted snow going to the ground. That combined with a couple of melt freeze layers made for a spooky snowpack. It has warmed significantly and been raining here in Mazama off and on. We need a big avy cycle to clean things out. Â Skiing has been very good. Quote
John Frieh Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 Anybody up for the East Face of Lexington? Â Nice pics Scott! Thanks for sharing! Quote
David_Scott Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Wow, big change from Thurs. BTW, if you frequent the WA Pass area, I am looking for a backcountry skiing partner(s). I have a Yamaha Rhino side by side atv with tracks, and so can get up to the WA Pass/Rainy Pass areas with relative ease (just a bit noisy). Quote
