I'm founding a new religion. Wanna join?

Here's how it works: Every Sunday morning while everybody else goes to church, you go for a hike with your family. Last Sunday I hiked up the Little River Trail. Week before that we hiked up the Graywolf Trail. Week before that we hiked the Heart of the Forest Trail and collected Chanterelles. Saw a cougar scratch pile on the trail. The other day we saw a pheasant a couple blocks from our house.

Get way fucking high and drink tons of OE800. Go climbin, with no rope.

way back in the day i overheard the following conversation early one sunday morning between a girl of about 9 or 10 and her mom.

 

little girl: "Mom, how come Suzy can't come to the barn on Sundays?"

 

Mom: "Her family is Baptist. They go to church on Sundays"

 

little girl: "I'm glad we're Equestrians so we can go to the barn on Sunday"

 

I'm glad I'm anything but in church on Sunday

A nice tangential benefit is that since you are out in the woods practicing your religion, you are exempt from the need for the forest pass.

It has been said that the difference between a religious person and a spiritual person is this:

 

A religious person sits in church on Sundays and thinks about being outside.

 

A spiritual person goes out on Sunday and thinks about god.
