ScottP
Read this thread or watch the sun move across the sky? Its a toss up. The sight of that shirt just sent my co-worker into an epileptic seizure...
knelson
ideal teh suck conditions are rapidly approaching  Sounds like you have it figured out - your commute will suck. I know a few folks that do the Renton/Everett thing, and I think you've actually found a worse one than that! I mean... you're just screwed. Coming out of W Seattle, you've gotta go up and around, or up and over - either way... you're screwed. Yup. Sucks to be you.  But hey... just think of all those BooksOnTape you get to listen to! MisterMo
Longest consistent commute would have been Index-ASARCO, about 90 miles one way for periods of months. Dumb, yes, but less grim than living in a motel in Fife. Â My longest time commuting one way would have to be 9 hours (or was it 7?) getting from Stevens to Index & being on the wrong side of a wreck. That's like less than walking speed. TREETOAD
I used to drive 40 minutes to a marshaling yard and then another hour to an hour and a half into the bush when I was logging years ago. I used to come home so late I would meet myself going to work the next morning

bcollins
Then hate this CBS, solid 4 min. walk with a headwind. Won't be that short when I get down to Phoenix though.
