knotzen Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Oh God, this is how I feel this morning. Dreaming about whips, and chains, and shock collars (oh my!) all night. Â Or was it...the wine? Quote

olyclimber Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Me? I drove to Lightning Dome on the SF Clearwater River in Ideeho on Saturday afternoon and met a new climbing partner (courtesy of John at Hyperspud) at the Flying J in Lewiston. We did a sweet 10a multi-pitch route on Sunday and finished with an epic descent in the dark sans headlamps. Then went back on Monday for some casual trad one-pitchers. Â I bet you meet a lot of guys at truck stops, sobo. Quote

sobo Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 I bought my first climbing gear ever at Hyperspud. Glad to hear that place is still there. Â He also has a second store in Yakima. That's where I first met John. Quote
archenemy Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Mingles was the pool joint. I actually got to see White Shark there for my Birthday (it was a gag gift--we went and had a ball). Â Lets see, a basement joint. That rules out Cadillac Jacks. Was it maybe John's Alley? Â Â WSU had a fun place by the train tracks on your way outta town heading toward UI--what was that place called? Quote
