Kraken Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 I saw this lady on her motorized wheel chair today while turning onto 116-west from Tacoma on 6th street. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen. She was like an ancient moving obese forest on wheels. I was lucky enough to snap a few shots without it noticing and becoming enraged. It could have done immense damage to my explorer. Quote
chirp Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Can we assume that you really arent in Anchorage, Alaska then? Quote
Kraken Posted August 7, 2005 Author Posted August 7, 2005 no I do in fact live there, but I've been visiting and climbing in WA for a month. I leave for AK on the 14th. Quote
olyclimber Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 she's probably in the street because there are no ramps on the sidewalks there. and if you had to carry some shrubbery, and you were in a wheelchair, how would you do it? Quote
SemoreJugs Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 What about the one behind her sporting them sexy chaps and boots. I'm getting hard just thinking about it. And dude, I think her little shrubbery is quite fetching Quote
Kraken Posted August 8, 2005 Author Posted August 8, 2005 I just don't get the fact that it was 90+ degrees and this woman was wearing a sweater with a scarf (not sure if you can see the scarf in the picture). It was weird. fuckin' funny though. Quote
Dechristo Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 It was the craziest thing I've ever seen. Get ready, you'll see crazier things. In the mirror, for one, if you live long enough. Quote
Clampooner Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 I propose a caption contest. I'd make the first one, but late night bowling has left me a bit tipsy. Quote
Kraken Posted August 8, 2005 Author Posted August 8, 2005 Grandma could barely contain her joy or her forward momentum as she left the garage sale. Quote
Clampooner Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Upon switching to a green fuel source, grannie wanted to really put the petal to the floor Quote
SemoreJugs Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 The new "Cannonball Run": midget cowgirl VS aged, rolling landscape approaching "The BUMP" Quote
Dechristo Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 "As Granny sat under her tree, she pondered why the 'BUMP' sign held her in such poignant sway; not knowing, in ten seconds, that word would mark and describe her last earthly moment to a motorist." Quote
Thinker Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Despite the 'No Hitch Hiking' signs, Erma and Betty were determined to make it back to Wyoming. Maybe this freeway ramp would be the one. or Drug crazed grannies roam far and wide in search of their next Bump. Quote
olyclimber Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Its actually a show down at High Noon. What you don't see across the street is a monkey and a clown, both also wearing cowboy hats and packing heat. Be glad you got out of there before the bullets started flying. Quote
mec Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 no worries, I would hide behind the shrub on the back of the 4 wheeler and I would be protected from those flying bullets. Quote
