TeleRoss
does anyone know the status of the 2005 Northwest Mountaineering Journal? Last I saw I thought it was going to be out Memorial Weekend? Lowell?

klenke
The reason for the delay is the MEU (Mountaineering Editors Union) voted to go on strike. We wanted a better 401k company match and new desk chairs. How can we be expected to work under such conditions? We'll be sure to pass along the cost increases to our customers. Lowell_Skoog
Thanks for your interest, Ross. Memorial Day was our target date, but as you can see, we've slipped a bit. Our unusual winter was partly responsible, due to many late breaking climb reports. We're continually trying to figure out how to manage the NWMJ task better, and I hope we can get closer to our target date next year. Thanks for your patience. I hope the 2005 NWMJ will seem worth the wait...

Gary_Yngve
Hang on -- shouldn't be too much longer. We're negotiating a new contract with the capital letters after they went on strike.
