crappy weather

OK, the unseasonably warm weather in october was tolerable, but now this crap has to stop. It was t-shirt weather today. The rain screwed up what little snow we have. It's starting to feel like a colorado ski season around here, gimme a break.

 

BTW, does anybody know what a place like whistler, with a predetermined opening date does in a situation like this? Are they just going to open with a crappy snowbase and run what they can? I think it's even too warm for snowmaking to work.

I've done three Thanksgivings out there. The first year was awesome, close to three feet of fresh snow the night before we arrived. The third year was barren. I fucked up my boards on rocks and Whistler Blackcomb operated limited runs. I guess you take what you get

this will be my third thanksgiving up there. the first was great and the second was so-so. but even when whistler sucks it rocks. you can always find something decent to ski somewhere on those two mountains. eh?
