Alan Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's Naven R. Johnson. (Just trying to boost my spray count.) Quote
Stefan Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 So the government says it has somebody with ties to terrorism, yet they send him away and not jail him under the Patriot Act? There were people jailed in Guatanomo Bay with less suspicion than this dude. And when Cat Stevens arrives in London he will not be taken into custody and let to walk the streets free as he should be. Why will the authorities in London/UK accept him? Something's fishy about this story. The whole story aint there...... Quote
Ducknut Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 the new phonebooks are out! The new phonebooks are out! Quote
markinore Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 In related news, Tom Ridge announced today that all mediocre rock acts from the '70s would from here on out be considered "enemy combatants" and sent to Guatanamo immediately following their capture. Golden Earing, ZZ Top, Duran Duran, and Starship were unavailable for comment and believed to be heading for the Canadian border. Mr. Ridge pointed out that this was another example of the superb leadership of President Bush, without whom our eardrums would be exposed to the potentially terrorizing effects of crappy music.
