Looking for advice on buying a digital photo printer. Not looking to make posters but something that can spit out 8 X 10 or smaller prints that are of decent quality. Anyone have a favorite?

I've used the HP 2410 (all in one) Excellent 3*5's, only done a couple larger prints, but they looked very good. Am now looking to buy the 2510 (Wifi enabled) for myself.

I'll second Winter's endorsment, I've got one of those too. The printer is one cost, but in the long haul the ink is more of an issue. The six separate ink tanks, which can be found online for less than $2 each, let you get the most out of your consumables. It's not a serious document printer though, so don't expect it to do everything.

I don't print serious documents at home anyhow. Just funny stuff.

Costco sucks ass but thanks for the recommendation anyway. The point behind buying a printer is to avoid making a trip somewhere else for prints.

You don't have to go to Costco, just about any place that does photo developing (Bartells, Cameras West, Walgreens) will make photo prints from your digital camera. At about .19 per print, it's cheaper than the photo-quality paper, let alone the cost of the ink, and the prints won't fade.

That said, my father-in-law has gotten phenominal results with his HP Officejet all-in-one fax/copier/printer. I don't remember what the model is, but they change monthly anyhow.
