minx Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 anyone use/know of any sites where i could store my digi pics online so they're easier to share than using e-mail? Quote
cracked Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 http://community.webshots.com/ is quite popular, but I've never used it myself. Quote
SnowByrd Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Ofoto or Snapfish. What Internet Provider do you use? Most have free online storage available. Quote
cj001f Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 www.smugmug.com - it's not free, but at $29.95 a year, cheap. Easy to upload, reliable. Quote
minx Posted August 4, 2004 Author Posted August 4, 2004 i don't like yahoo for photo storage. i find it a little cumbersome to share pics and it seems like all to often i can't access my photos. i access from work and home so i'd like storage that isn't associated with my ISP. Quote
Dustin_B Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 anyone use/know of any sites where i could store my digi pics online so they're easier to share than using e-mail? I use www.snapfish.com. It works really well for me. Its free with one catch, you have to buy at least one picture/print a year from them or they'll delete your albums. Not a big deal though as the pics are $.20 or $.25 a piece and are good quality (assuming your digi pictures are....). Quote
swaterfall Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Snapfish makes everyone who wants to view your album register with them. It's not hard to gie them a fake registration, but it's still a pain in the ass. Quote

Its seems like all the ones I've tried (or that my friends have tried) all make you register. Quote
