There's a small bit on kgw.com about a search for injured/lost climbers somewhere around Yokum and the Reid, but I can't find any other info. iain Posted April 11, 2004 Share Posted April 11, 2004 2 climbers stuck on the upper buttress of Yocum. A hoist was not successful, so they were "encouraged" down the exit gulley to Leuthold Couloir around 3 in the morning. iain Posted April 11, 2004 Share Posted April 11, 2004 No kidding Billy. They were trying to do Leuthold Couloir, but took a bit of a left turn in the dark. They were way the hell up there on the south side of the ridge, in a rime gulley. My goal is not to wind up on the reid glacier for at least one weekend this month.
