icegirl Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 One of my friends is offloading some nice camera equipment... PM if interested, serious inquiry only please. The camera is a Nikon titanium body highpoint F3 (very spendy way back when, one of the best things out there. These are on ebay @ $300-400). Also have the SB-17 flash, also have 55 mm macro lens. Have two Vivatar 283 flash units, and have photocell triggers Have a Photogenic Power Light PL06A plus whatever you call the little tentlike thing that goes around it to dampen the flash. Have misc. brackets and cords, free to whoever buys the rest of it. Fair market is tough on some of this stuff, ebay is the great equilizer... Quote
icegirl Posted December 10, 2003 Author Posted December 10, 2003 as a kit or as seperate parts? Quote
icegirl Posted December 11, 2003 Author Posted December 11, 2003 Whole kit around $650, but would take best offer. Quote
Thrashador Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 If that 55mm macro is a Nikkor and is in good shape it's a gem of a manual focus lens. Quote
icegirl Posted December 12, 2003 Author Posted December 12, 2003 I believe it is. I keep telling him to keep it and wait for the silicone film to make it out, but he's downsizing, and has gone digital, which is adequate for what he does with it. Quote

icegirl Posted December 12, 2003 Author Posted December 12, 2003 film that will allow you to take digital images with your non-digital camera. Quote
boatskiclimbsail Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 They had one out awhile ago but is was super spendy and by today's digital standards extremely poor quality for a pro photographer. I have heard siliconfilm has a 3MP and a 10MP due out shortly. Hopefully they will get some better marks. Quote
