Who ya getting email from?

I've been getting some interesting spam emails the past few days ...just got one from Igor Barks...

I get a ton of penis enlargement spam, which always cracks me up. I've also been getting a bunch of emails with sanskrit type lettering. Have no idea what those people want...

i dont get spam... you's must be doing something wrong... like shopping for porn or visiting al jazeera a few too many times. i have had the same e-mail for 5 years with mabe 100 spams in that time.

somebody hacked our work email server in New Yawk City and stole the list of our email addys.... since then I have got about 2 dozen Nigerian Banking and other scams.... "Block Sender!"

My problem is that my email address has gotten "public" due to listings at trade shows, then the lists being subsequesntly sold I think.

hmmmm...actually a lot of that may be coming in on the junk email As a control-freak boss, I have the junk account and the incorrect addresses defaulting to me. but I do have my personal acct in some overseas trade listings...

Wow.Maybe you could give me some advice on what to do;most days I get around 50-80 spam emails.Any help would be appreciated.I am kind of a computer novice.

I use a blocker called cloudmark. Gets about 75% and sends it to a spam file automtically. You can try it free for 30 days. Then it's about $4 a month. Here's their little promotion. I suspect that spammers will use a given return address once per mailing. So if you block that address it has no impact whatsoever.

shit! what kidna email are you using... try bumping up the filter if you already haven't...

some do, some don't. nothing you can do about it.

I have a fire wall, a pop up stopper and a spam device that seems to work real well as well as all the virus stuff etc.

also look at anti spy-ware stuff... my machine works soo much faster since i killed all that gator crap!
