Cpt.Caveman Posted October 7, 2003 Author Posted October 7, 2003 (edited) You are incorrect about guess number 2. Die- does that mean you are making a personal ATTACK? Have you stood on slesse? Edited October 7, 2003 by Cpt.Caveman Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted October 7, 2003 Author Posted October 7, 2003 Here is another one for Klenke. Quote
klenke Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 No, it wouldn't be a personal attack unless I typed it in red. What is that peak then? It has the looks of a few things but I know it's not one of those things. Quote

Since you were in that area this weekend, it might be a picture of some crag over thattaway. I have only climbed Del Campo in the Gothic Basin area, so am unfamiliar with the details of other peaks there. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted October 7, 2003 Author Posted October 7, 2003 What is that peak then? I will do my research later this week and propose some answers. I firmly believe that slesse and larabee area are closer than the proposed answer. However I am inclined to make a personal attack and disagree but I could be wrong. Quote

klenke Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 I have no idea, and I tire of playing, and I tire of all these personal attacks. Goodnight. Quote

PONCHO&LEFTY Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 This thread gets a little confusing for dumb people like myself, but am I reading it right that there is some confusion as to if that is Larabee and Slesse in that picture away back? I believe it is. Here is a picture of them a little closer. The profiles are very alike. Quote
greenfork Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 that looks like Red Cross peak in the foreground, and WhiteBox in the background. Quote
Alpinfox Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 (edited) Wow! I love how sharp Slesse [edit: or whatever that mtn is] looks in this photo! Someone tell me what it is please. Edited October 7, 2003 by Alpinfox Quote

Cpt.Caveman Posted October 7, 2003 Author Posted October 7, 2003 (edited) The confusion is which is Larabee and Pleiadees and which is slesse. I cannot view your photo Poncho. Wish I could. But the Larabee and Border Peaks must be about 5 miles as the crow flies from slesse? Or less... If that is true my photo may show different peaks than suggested is all I am saying. Standing on top of Silesie Mtn one can easily view the border peaks not so far away. They are the neighbors. Maybe I should climb Larabee to find out. Which was also a new objective for me. Maybe this weekend maybe next year. Edited October 7, 2003 by Cpt.Caveman Quote
Dru Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 from larrabee to slesse is more like 3 miles or 5km as the crow flies Quote
PONCHO&LEFTY Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 (edited) Here is the photo attached if not viewable. Edited October 7, 2003 by PONCHO&LEFTY Quote

Dru Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 maybe use the map and figure out what angle you took it at? Quote

Dru Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 larrabee should be the leftmost part and a b p the spiky top part Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted October 7, 2003 Author Posted October 7, 2003 and a b p the spiky top part You agree Quote

klenke Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 For Chrissakes boys! It's Larrabee on the left, Slesse on the right! How many times do I have to tell you? Quote
