Great suggestion (Hot Petey Bendover)! rolleyes.gifNow, how about something longer than 22 feet? How about something that isn't behind a chain-link fence and off limits to climbing? Dude, you're out of the loop. Who put you in charge of the New Rock Climbing Forum (Petey's Corner)? Seems like you should have better information to pass around.

Oh, I almost forgot..............

Are there any non-overhanging true hand cracks

(i.e. neither too tight nor rattly but just right for

most people) that are rated harder than 5.10d? I suppose in

Indian Creek there must be some enduro horrorshows, howabout

in any of the granite areas? confused.gif

not local

semi-tough (11a), jt.

If a hand crack is not overhanging and not "too tight" or too rattly, it is probably going to go at 5.8/5.9 IMO.

you are most probably right. the climb i mentioned is dead vertical and if i recall correctly it, indeed, has a variety of placement sizes. i do remember the hand size part though because of the scabs on the back of my hands for weeks afterward cry.gifmadgo_ron.gif and to think i climbed the pitch a second time crazy.gif
