Cpt.Caveman Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 That's a steal! I lent my poons to danimal but if could buy again today I would fork the money for these pieces still. Camp XLC 490 Crampons Quote
alienPDX Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Anyone know if these can be extended to fit size 13 boots? Quote
Winter Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Climbaxe had 'em $5 cheaper with anti-bots and bag. May still be on their web site. Quote
slothrop Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Shipping from overstock.com is three bucks, and they come with antibots and bag. Just got me some after seeing my partner use the same kind last weekend. Quote
Greg_W Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 ANyone know the size range? I've got big feet. Quote
Off_White Posted July 26, 2003 Posted July 26, 2003 They fit on my son's 12-1/2 mtn boots. I think I'm gonna buy him a pair so I can have mine back. Quote

I'd say you are in good shape if your feet are size 13 or smaller. When I bought them through overstock they shipped from climbaxe, so it would seem that they are basically just advertising for climbaxe on their site and taking a cut of the sale. These work pretty well for what I bought them for - long slogs on low angle slopes and approaches to spring snow climbs. They're light enough that the bring crampons/leave them behind debate is a thing of the past. Quote
