Dru Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 I got the charlet sno-walker. it is lighter than the grivel air tech or the bd raven. decent head. big con so far: the head is sharp-edged. im gonna have to file or tape some sharp corners on the head-shaft juncture to make it comfy carry. oh yes, its french and cheaper than grivel or bd at MEC. and it shaft plunges much better than my quarks Quote

Rodchester Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 Is it lighter than the BD Raven Pro? The one thing about the BD is the head is desgined for carrying comfort, and it works very well. Quote
Dru Posted May 20, 2003 Author Posted May 20, 2003 yes lighter than the raven they had at mec i dunno if that is the raven pro or not i heard there wasnt much diff raven or pro weightwise. Quote

allthumbs Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 the pro is too light it's a bitch to get it to stick the raven is as light as I'd go, and I like mine (course I don't climb) so it's moot Quote
