AmberBuxom Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 I like to do a little gym climbing while I travel. What's a good gym in the Seattle area? thanx Quote
Jopa Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 There are two indoor gyms in Seattle. If you will be climbing alone, I would recommend Stone Gardens because they have more bouldering problems than any other gym I have ever seen. Vertical World (the other gym) would be a better choice if you had a partner and only wanted to do top ropes. Overall, I would say Stone Gardens is the better place to go because they have enough top ropes to keep you busy and more bouldering than you can imagine. It is located at 28th and NW Market in Ballard (a neighborhood in Seattle). Vertical World is in Ballard as well, but I can't remember the address. You can look them up on the internet for directions. Have fun! Quote

If you're going to be climbing at Stone Gardens and want a belay, feel free to ask the guys at the counter if Helgi is climbing, and tap me on my shoulder. Quote
