Riley81 Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 (edited) Anyone who’s traversed the ridge from Fernow to Copper care to share some route info. I have found a lot of questions about it, but not much solid info. I am wondering about the portion included in the attached photo. Edited July 10, 2019 by Riley81 Quote
JasonG Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 It looks pretty involved from the summit of Fernow, but maybe that's what you're after? Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 yeah, I was on Fernow a couple weeks ago, saw this view, and said "fuck that". The traverse looks sketch balls Quote

We’ll at least it isn’t covered with gendarmes. I’ve seen one trip report on here, but it seemed rather odd because the person described lots of difficulties on the way there, with rappels, but no difficulties on the way back. Do you know anyone who’s done it? Quote

I've been on much worse. Quote
seano- Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 (edited) I did it in 2014 from Holden, and thought it was low-fifth-class and often chossy. I wrote a trip report -- http://www.drdirtbag.com/2014/07/04/copper-n-ridge-5-5-fernow/ -- and probably have more photos lying around. Edited July 12, 2019 by seano- grading... Quote
