We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Where are you headed? Please report back on pow conditions! :-)

Maybe in a couple months....Summer is just too fleeting in the high alpine already.

Too fleeting for..your preference? The way things are headed, I think the high alpine could turn into dust bowls 😬 Let me know, @JasonG the moment when you're excited for skiing!

@NikiY Dang...well...at least you got out there! I'd better go see that "glacier" before it disappears entirely. The Flett "glacier" looked about the same when I was up there last month. I'm sure October turns will be better! ..late October turns..

I had some great skiing on the Muir snowfield last October, and by the looks of it this October should be good too!
