olyclimber Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Cheers to y’all especially @Terminal_Gravity for all the beer you have donated for the Cascaseclimbers community to enjoy over the years. I remember the first Ropeup I put on (well partially remember )! That was a great party up at Chattercreek! Anyone remember that? Tipping back a TG IPA in the memory of a good time that was had by most! Quote
JayB Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 I'll second that. He was a cool guy. Very much enjoyed meeting him at the Smith-Rock ropeup back in ~'03. Anyone been to his brewery recently? Quote
olyclimber Posted January 19, 2018 Author Posted January 19, 2018 I have not, but I believe Steve has retired/moved on from that brewery. Happened a number of years back. Quote
ivan Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 when i first arrived in the pnw in '02, i ran into steve at the craziest party i might ever have attended - his special alterna-brew keg was no doubt the cause hope he's doing well - been a mort o'years - lord knows he deserves the universe to cut him a few breaks - hope to climb w/ him again, and buy TG all the time accordingly... ivan Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 can't recall if steve supplied the skull hollow party that raged 'till near dawn, when mike layton threw the deer legs into the fire Quote
layton Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 omg that party was fucked. midgets jumping though fire h oops, wherley passing out on top of the tent.....ughh Quote
olyclimber Posted March 1, 2018 Author Posted March 1, 2018 @layton please do tell the story in detail. But leave out the parts where I’m involved. I remember girls rolling around in the dirt, someone fell off a bridge, and some degree bashfulness the next morning, but I honestly can’t remember it all too well for some reason. Quote
olyclimber Posted March 1, 2018 Author Posted March 1, 2018 Oh you’re talking about skull hallow! Lol. Too many good times. Quote
Off_White Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Certainly helped develop my Counting Crows aversion, though that might have been a different year. I think I only went to Tuffyfest in 04 and 05. This is from 2004. Quote
olyclimber Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 dang when the time is right we need to do another get together. and not in the city. some place where we can get our fingernails dirty. Quote
