Jake_Gano Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I'm looking for something to cover my skin while crossing snowfields in warm to hot conditions to protect from sunburn but not for insulation. Patagonia used to make one but it's no longer available. Looking for light fabric, light color, hood, cut for climbing. Basically a white Capaline 1 with a hood. I have other hoodies (R1, merino, stretch synthetic, etc.) but they are warmer than what I am looking for. Quote
kurthicks Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I'm pretty fond of travel shirts from Coolibar--lots of colors, light fabric, breathable. Lots of folks also like the Columbia one too. The OR Ensenada is very warm, too warm for daily use in my opinion. Quote
96avs01 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 I've got a white and olive colored Patagonia sun hoodies that I use in the backcountry and when I was consulting at Owens Lake (high desert). Probably my favorite piece(s) of gear after my Squamish wind hoody. Don't know if they still make them. Quote
JasonG Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Patagonia still makes them Or, maybe you want this style? Quote
