    guess who?

guess who i'm referring to? Ya know when you're hanging out with your friends 'round a fire after climbing, say in j-tree. and someone comes over and you already get that "feeling" and they're like, "hey man, mind if i join you're guys's fire?" and you politely say sure. next thing this dudes totally drunk and annoying and won't leave so instead of kicking him out, you end the night early by saying, "yeah, well...long day today, early start tomorrow. guess i'm hitting the hay" and everyone goes to bed early cuz of "That guy"
  8. i had to carry someone out of the canyon over my shoulder until i found help when i visited it back in '95. i know what ya mean. group mentality can also be a source of trouble though!
  9. where is Liberty Mtn Lowell. Geordie, i've done both in spring. not to much of a challenge with a few weeks between them though.
  10. i see a shape...it's a ...it's a tower... i'm seeing white and, brown
  11. anyone been up to baker and seen how much snow was on nooksak tower recently?
  12. cancel that request.
  13. ok. i'm gonna go puke now
  14. that hasn't been done yet actually. I tried it a few years ago and got TOTALLY hosed on the approach. of course we went during a major dump. took us 9 hours from the car to about 1/2 mile from the mountain! then to add insult to injury my friend Tim comes skiing up behind us with his dog and said, "hey thanks for packing down the trail guys!" Then to add salt in that wound, Tim writes a monthly column in the bellingham herald called, "outward hound" and wrote, "conditions were great thanks to two hikers ahead of me" Then my partner lied to the American Alpine Inst and said we did it in those full conditions (thinking they'd get his joke) they didn't and now think i'm either a total liar or totally hard core.
  15. dru you could probably do it in a day, two days ez. no, i haven't done it. the 1st two will take about 1/2 the day, the others should go by VERY quickly. (i've done the N and south traverse by myself one cold lonely day and had to bivy cuz of a whiteout). the ridge b/t the two is really shitty, but easy.
  16. i need money not bitches
  17. So it turns out I have an extra pair of ribs. 13 pairs, the extra set at L1. very very rare. so to fund my climbing this summer, how much for one rib?
  18. you mean snorting coke off a prostitutes back standing through the sunroof of a stolen car Neil Patrick Harris.
  19. Way to guide the gnar Gene!!!! btw, for folks that don't know, Gene is the baddest motherfucker on this site.
  20. dude! wtf? what about me? i wanna go!!!
  21. dude if i'm concidered bad ass, then the rest of the climbing community just got promoted to uber-gnar . And no, i found her on the transgendered section of Adultfriendfinder.com It took all the money i had to pay for the operation , so i can't buy her a train ticket now. Can't wait to see the results!!!! No but seriously, i'm trying to help my friend out. she'll provide really nice conversation and doesn't take up much room. make a boring drive more interesting and stop by ellenseburg if you're coming back that way to PDX. however, don't try anything cuz she packs her glock and'll bust a cap if your ass.
  22. I hope the various research studies done on other therapies read this post. Not to cause a controversy, but studies done on blood samples from folks who've had a chiropractic adjustment have shown clinically significantly increased PMN (basically white blood cells) and macrophage activity. Could be in response to brief local inflamm of the joints, who knows. just think that's pretty neat. not saying go to a chiropractor b/c you have a cold, just a cool side benifit. Here's a VERY cool therapy i've had done. you'd be VERY hard pressed to find this contraption. I've had an ionizing lamp put down my throat (creating ozone which is highly toxic) and the theory is that the ozone kills the local infection (the viruses aren't in your blood, they are in your membranes in your respiratory tract usually). kinda like advanced salt water gargling. Having your sinuses drained by a chiropractor is a very very cool trick (basically the doctor sticks their finger so far up your throat you want to die) and the results are profound and totaly fucking disgusting. won't cure the cold, but if you're too stuffed up to stand the light of day, worth a try. also an extra long q-tip jammed up your nose so far you think it'll poke your brain and coated with Silver Protien, is another amazing and totally gross way to drain the sinus. i've seen photos....super nasty.
  23. Need a ride from Ellensburg to PDX before friday please? Not for me, but a wholesome nice girl who needs a ride. She can dehydrate fruit for you (supply the fruit) or some gin in return. No ride back necessesary. PM me please.
  24. one more thing. a mega dose of nyquil or theraflu tea before bedtime (although not very homeopathic!) totally knocks you out and the asperin or aceteominaphin in it relieves the pain and fever.
