  3. Yeah, that was fun reading John. Great style. You should have kept going. It's hard not to write a 3 page reply... Hands down, that was the funnest day/line of the year. great to get back out with you, and it was awesome meeting Dan, and getting to see him do his thing. My pics all suck. Kyle(and veronica and Jimbo),,, Thanks,! I've got plenty of smoked salmon in the freezer!
  4. Wow! John Plotz outside of icicle creek valley?!?! Photoshop! Awesome route guys, way to go!
  5. yes, the road has been open for about a week or so. trail was mostly clear for about 1 mile+. someone cleared the blow downs while I was out! then mostly all snow with some bare patches. most creek crossings are sure to get your feet wet. the lower section of leroy creek trail is bare. still lots of snow up there....

  7. Awesome! Great to see you are back at it John!!!
  8. Right on Jimbo!!! Too funny. I was on the summit maybe ten minutes before you? Bright green pants. I was wondering where you guys came up from. Congrats on decending on skis.
  9. SICK!!! Congrats on getting that done guys!
  10. Awesome guys!! Glad you got it. Now I am definatly jealous. So sorry I had to bail.
  11. I did. We sat at one of the tables in the beer garden.. I won at the raffle too! A hat, two videos, and a nice bird where hoodie. What a day it was! John leading the way up.. getting down.
  12. Thank you guys for the awesome up track!!! You nailed it! I was the guy on the splitboard in the second group. We didn't make it up to the summit either. Conditions changed as we rapped to a more southerly exposure. Less fluff, more crust, but very stable. Green was our highpoint, blue was the decent. Photo from rock mt.
  13. Well, I was the one to say it's time to see what I'm made of...which wasn't that much considering who broke trail 90% of the way. Still an awesome tour on a split, even with the few annoyances on the way down. Thanks for the great lead, and photos! Now I am going to have to properly rep the 313 and the D and get on 8 mile.
  14. Cool Kurt! Nice views?? I shoulda gave you a call. I sat home doing nothing on sunday. Here are some shots of what I am pretty sure is the north bowl on arrowhead. Taken on christmas eve this year.
  15. CNC'd aluminium would be nice.. here is a pretty sweet piece of machined jewelry.
  16. I second the splitboard/hardboot voile plates. But, like the above picture, they clamp down on the toe instead of the heal. here is a couple of photos and some used sets for sale for 20&25$.. at the very bottom(no affiliation to seller) http://splitboard.com/talk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7212
