  1. Will those approach skis work for a small person? I'd say under 150lbs with pack and boots and gear. I wear a men's size 8.5 boot. If they'll work, I'll take 'em!
  2. STP has the Wraith: Wraith Coupon codes abound. PM me if you want a single use 20% off code that expires 8/31.
  3. Just spotted this one on a paddling forum: http://boatertalk.com/gear/gear-detail.php?gid=71740
  4. A sad day for one gear whore is a good day for another. I'd like to buy the Grivel umbilicals, the v-threader, the screw roll and the Petzl Ice Clippers. How much to ship to NY? I can do Paypal or money order. Kathy

What size are the Gore-tex socks?
  6. Ask your wife if she thought these were narrow, wide or average. I wear a 9 narrow and could use a new pair of approach shoes. Kathy
  7. Hi Jon, A colleague of mine is intersted in your boots, and can offer $300 and arrange to meet you for pickup. He tried getting an account here, but it's not working. If you send me your contact info, I'll get you two guys in touch. Did we climb together at Devil's Kitchen one day this winter with MikeR? Kathy
  8. Here's a pair just got posted: http://neice.com/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/1816
  9. I'll take 'em if PeakDream doesn't. Kathy
  10. How much to ship those to NY? I could really use those. Kathy

  13. The Mountaineer in Keene Valley, NY stocks 'em: http://www.neice.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=MTR&Product_Code=G14Points&Category_Code=435
  14. Thanks for the info, folks! What about local guide services? I won't have my own partner for this trip. Couldn't talk any of them into going. Kathy
  15. A dear friend of mine is getting married in Field, BC the first weekend in October. I am planning to go and would like to make a vacation out of it since I'll be flying all the way from the east coast. So, I'm wondering what the climbing is like in the area that time of year? Too cold, but too early for ice season? My preference is for multipitch trad routes, 5.8 and under, but would consider other options in the same grade range. What areas should I be looking at? Are there guide services in the area? I'm planning to rent a car. Any suggestions are appreciated. Kathy
