Oregon woman's blood alcohol level nine times legal limit

    1/10/2008, 8:41 a.m. PST

    The Associated Press

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) — Authorities say a woman found in a car in Klamath County had a blood alcohol level of .72 percent, nine times greater than the legal limit for driving.

Sheriff Tim Evinger said it's rare to see readings higher than .30 percent. Levels of .40 percent to .50 percent are considered lethal.

Evinger said Terri Comer, 42, had been heading to her home in Keno last month, southeast of Klamath Falls.

An off-duty deputy found her in the car, which had plowed through about 100 feet of snow. Ambulance workers had to break a back window to rescue her.

Evinger said she was unconscious for 12 hours but released after a day in the hospital.

He said she was charged with drunken driving.

  1. That inreadable graph is sure going to help the original poster here.

The graph is % of light reflected versus reflection angle for pure s polarized light (the green line) and pure p polarized light (the red line). S polarized light is the surface reflection or "glare" that you would get from ice ("information" if you well). Polarized sunglasses are designed to reduce transmisison of s polarized light (unless you wear them at 90 degrees) giving you more (relative to before) p light transmission so you can do things like see rocks in the water. But you are losing some of the surface reflection information.

  2. I'd advise you to dispute the charge with your credit card company before dealing with Moosejaw any further. Once that process is started the retailer will become AMAZINGLY more attentive.

I had shitty warranty service from Moosejaw. Was a pain to contact them, then they sent the boots to the wrong address and told me to "chill".

Only bothered with them at Christmas this year because they offered free 2-day and 20% off. Only 1 of the "instock ships tomorrow" made it by Christmas

  3. My preferences re: specs are: 1) polarised; 2) 100% UV blockage; and, 3) > 80% visible light reduction.

1)Polarized glasses suck for skiing and mountaineering - they reduce surface reflections so you receive less information about things like ice. they are nice for water sports though.

2)Most everything blocks 100% of UV radiation, not much transmits well into the UV

3)For hi-altitude and snow in the summer 5-12% transmission is nice. Its hard to find sunglasses with that little transmission - but there are quite a few glacier glasses that are available with that range. The other advantage of glacier glasses vs. those cool shades is glacier glasses don't get so nasty with sweet because they are further away from your face.

  4. and ping pong ballz.

weh mi monay! you pay extrah fuh ballz! I WANTTT MIIII MONYYYYY*

    * the above is slight modification of actual conversation between Indonesian working girl and Brazilian surfer at the shittiest, most foul, place I've ever paid to spend a night.

  5. :nurd: I found ur math mistake

    (e^pi)^i =-1

    (e^pi)*i = 23.1406926 i

WTF are you talking about retard?

if you want to get bitchy I should have written it e^ (pi *i) = -1

ask google e to the pi i you piece of british columbia trailer trash
