Typically, you don't know shit about bears or bear management. Furthermore, you can't even follow the basic facts of a short posting Bears come into campgrounds all the time (the incident happened in an RV park, not on private property dumbshit). If California parks managed bears per your moronic suggestion, you wouldn't be able to park for all the bear carcasses. The key is not bear management, but people management. Proper storage of food is key, and this fucking numbnuts flagrantly ignored that golden rule. Millions of RVs and kids visit Yosemite, the highest concentration of campground bears in the country, every year, and no bears get shot. Why don't you STFU for an hour or so, sit in a quiet room somewhere, and think about how why you get off on publically displaying your obvious stupidity?

I believe you missed the obvious irony of your own post, which you so often do, that Palin is most certainly a "hip and flamboyant mascot". You erroneously stated that the mascot leads the party, not your detractors, so you've been debating with your own statement like a delusional idiot. Look, either take the ADD meds or stop posting.

SOunds like another dumb cracker with no bear sense and a gun. What an asshole. I.e. the bear went after my smelly fishing tackle which I left out in bear country, then ate the dog food I put out even thought there was a bear there already, so I shot it. Hopefully, he'll gently tuck the barrel under his chin next time.

Gladly would this cross I'd bare

Eve sounds like she's gives a really lousy blowjob.

The article, other than being just another plug for McCain, has the fatal flaw of assuming the American's somehow favor unilateralism and are strangers to internationalism. More accurately, America is split down the middle on the subject; hillbilly drug addicts who can't recognize through their methed out haze that 8 years of strident, radical unilateralism have fucked us in the ass, and Us, the smart ones who've actually had a passport stamped at least once in our lives. If you thought that was elitist, you should probably just die of a meth overdose in your trailer.

I just read the first 10 pages of "Three Cups of Tea", then quietly placed it in the Goodwill bin.

He's a wide receiver now. Badumpbump. I love some of these "bear attack" stories. "I saw a bear swimming towards us real fast. He growled. He was intent on attack, but then he ran really fast downriver." In other words, you just saw a bear. OK. Reminds me of the "aggressive bear" reports that were coming from the Minnesotans at Holden.

I'm just SUPER! Thanks for asking!

Ditto my previous comment. Time in our universe flows in one direction, the direction of increasing entropy. We don't know why, but so far according to our tests, it does. Don't know what you mean by 'linear', because the rate at which time flows varies according to relativity. As for time having a beginning or end, well, or oscillating backwards and fowards, that's an interesting question. Considering the relativity of time, it's possible to imagine verses where entropy decreases and time flows backwards, or time flows through a one of those Krazy Straws. As for every moment always existing; since time is really observational evidence of entropy increasing, what exactly does that mean? That the 2nd Law has some loopholes? Where's the evidence?

I just don't have a need to plug God in as a magic term into equations that have yet to be solved or may never be solved. I'm cool with big unanswered questions. Given the inefficient flow of information around the universe, that seems pretty natural and expected to me. There is some inorganic evolutionary driver responsible for an improbable universe so suitable for life. We may never really know what it is, because if it involves multiverses, and it seem like it must, we'll never experience another verse. Oh well.

BTW, I'm looking for an interesting, old wood burning stove. It will never be installed, it's just for decor and holding candles, so it can be completely rusted out. In fact, that condition would be prefered. If you know of one, please send a PM my way.

Yeah, read the highlights, know the arguments. Sorry, no effect.

My Powershot 800 took a 200 foot header onto some rock. It's not lookin' so good right now. I've got an 870 on order from B&H of Brooklyn; 8 MP over 7.1, 3" LCD rather than 2.5, otherwise the same camera. Plus, I don't have my cobalt blue vase through which to transmit a beam of light pointed heavenward much like The Luxor in Vegas. Right now I have an iron sculpture I did a while back centered, illuminated by a single votive without a holder. I may keep that. The orange light fucks up most colors, and probably will cobalt blue too. I'm also experimenting with a bolivian throw; actually a 100 year old red and black striped poncho, for the leather couch. The mule deer antlers, lifted from Zion NP, is already perched above the window behind the couch. I also have to fabricate two 3 to 4' high plant holders, which will actually hold lamps, probably out of distressed iron of some kind. I'll have to find really old, rusty pipe somewhere. Cafe table bases and table top brackets will complete the installation. Finally, I need to repair a floor lamp and refinish the top of an old end table I just freed from Goodwill. By then the camera will be here and I'll do a video fly through...of the living room only. The dungeon goes on closed circuit only.

I just lit the sucker up the way I wanted it. Just a single uncovered 25 W bulb hidden underneath. FAWKING RAWK.

The universe isn't made of nothing. Nothing in this universe is is a quivering low energy state something. Still, several important mysteries remain. Why did the universe start out in a low entropy state and why does the 2nd law exist? In other words, why does time flow forward? Why did the universe evolved so perfectly into an environment for life and intelligence? Are we just one of many verses; one of the lucky few? These are huge questions, but humanity will probably always face huge questions, and these questions can be faced without bringing an outside entity into the discovery process. The universe is what it is, and it is a fantastic place for the most part far out of scale of our experience. But it just is. I know its hard to comprehend this godless universe. I was a believer for 20 years, so I went through that transformation. It wasn't easy. But I had to do it because I just didn't buy the whole religious story. This means you need to find your own purpose, but in reality, everyone, religious or not, must do that anyway, regardless of whether or not they atribute the signs for action to god or gerbles.

I just finished making a really cool sofa table with an orange cast artglass tabletop. I'm gonna put a cobalt blue vase on the center of it and illuminate it with a spotlight from below. In other words, I care even less than normal what you fuckers or Junk Yard God think right now, cuz I've got a really cool sofa table and you've got some piece of shit from IKEA.

At the very least we can expect a generous increase in the prescription drug benefit.

Coincidence? I think not.

Are we drifting into the subcellular biology thread?

Hmmm, let's see: I just finished Linden Hills by Gloria Naylor; and did a reread of The Monkey Wrench Gang. When is the last time you looked outside your box? A thought provoking reading list to be sure...if you've been in a coma the past 20 years, perhaps. FW uses less than a handful of stone simple rhetorical devices over, and over, and over. His favorite is FIND THE CHINK, for which he conveniently provides what liberals believe so we don't have to. One you'll never hear from this chickenshit is THIS IS MY THESIS. Why is Palin or McCain good for the country, exactly? He just doesn't have the neural power, balls, or both to come up with a defensible argument, so all you'll here is the kind of standard liberal carping that Rush Limbaugh capitalized on so well over the past 20 years. His driving emotional need? Prove the liberals wrong!!!! for which he provides a 3 year old's understanding of liberal thought so he is guaranteed victory in his own mind. But FW's history of 'being right' is something completely different. If one had all four limbs removed and had nothing else to do, one could simply track his predictions regarding, say, the Iraq war and quickly realize that this self styled 'free thinker' is nothing more than an tinny amplifier with a blown out speaker for the GOP propoganda. If he ever had an original idea pop out of his barely functioning brainstem, it never made it to this forum. Absolutely scathing. I suppose if you were better read you might even put together a rebuke worthy of your 10th grade Catholic education. Sister Catherine must have left deep scars--so traumatic you eventually found yourself placed in that small minority of St. John's Prep kids designated early on as not college-bound. Is this why you developed eating problems? Is she partly responsible for your Asperger's? Pssst: I tried to help you out with the spelling (again). I didn't bother with the structure/syntax--which was just awful. (Which grad school was that again?) Note the bold print, make the necessary corrections, then turn it back in. I'll give you half-credit. Fatass. Didn't you already post this exact same reply to the exact same post back on Page 9? I don't get it... LHC-spawned causality loop

The take away here is that I just wanna party with the Palins.

'Moron' is my word, FW. Get your own. Dumbass.
