    hey fatty

Mostly vegetarian? Isn't that like "mostly" celebate? Mostly pregnant? Mostly dead?
  2. TOP Men.
  3. No, pat, it's the Ark. Get your facts straight. They've had "top men" studying it since Indie recovered it in the 30's.
  4. No worries. I suspect the claymores Bill has rigged around his property should do the trick.

    hmmm....

    Kids make terrible pets.
  6. Won't somebody think of the children?????
  7. If you ask me, we'd be better off without a president for a while.
  8. I disagree. Take Bush for example. He personally fucked up the US by being a bully. Lots of power. Obama could be more forceful. What kind of weed are you smoking these days? Any power he had was given to him by congress (Iraq War), and most of the completely heinous things of the Bush era (tax cuts, military spending, Patriot Act, TARP, etc.) were all acts of Congress. I suppose you could argue that he was responsible for several major executive blunders (lax FTC enforcement, extraordinary rendition, poor military execution, etc.) but these could have been reigned in by congress, had they even bothered. Hell, most of these things were only possible because of congress, who basically gave him a blank check.
  9. Your best option is to become a total badass local climber. Then they'll be sorry they mistreated you.
  10. Also, Neil's ascent has been repeated by others, thus solidifying its grade.
  11. Are you really comparing this to Armstrong walking on the moon? Wow, rap-bolting has gotten really hardcore!
  12. huh? that made my brain hurt.
  13. "Just don't clip the bolts" is basically the most retarded pro-bolting argument there is. Using that logic, we should just grid-bolt everything. There are good arguments for bolting. But that is not one of them.
  14. Considering the president actually holds very little real power, I think it's dissappointing that everybody rallies around him like some kind of king, and then becomes disappointed when he can't deliver. Whatever happened to congress? Why does everybody look to the president to drive legislative change in the first place? Fuck that shit. We should not even have created that position in the first place. Stupid humans and their prehistoric "god" complex. Why does there always have to be "one guy" at the top? It's so old-fashioned. "State of the Union" indeed. Who the fuck asked his opinion, anyway? Like he's behind the wheel or something. Oh Captain, My Captain!

    Gun Rights

And then there is that guy in Woodinville or Bothell or wherever who shot himself in the balls at Home Depot this summer, with his concealed carry weapon. "So Bob, anything interesting happen this weekend?"
  16. I have a PhD in the poon. Dr. Tang, that's what they call me. Giggidy!

    Gun Rights

Carrying a gun in seattle for "self defense" is like flying on an airliner with a parachute. I mean, suit yourself, but you're retarded.

    Gun Rights

I own a few guns, for fun. Guns are fun to shoot. But I can't imagine why anybody would want to carry one around all day. I mean, this isn't Fallujah. People who like carrying guns around everywhere should just join the Marines. Carrying one around downtown Seattle is just sort of ... weird. Out of place and illogical.
  19. It's also true that just because you are exposed to an illness it is not 100% you will get it. Guess you should forgo the vaccination and "take a chance" (kind of like Russian Roulette). There's more to this than an individual's susceptibility to an illness. If the vaccine is effective for a large majority the laws of probability kick in and the spread of an illness is vastly reduced. If everyone is unvaccinated, it is easier to spread the illness and do so quickly. Is the smallpox vaccine 100% for all people? Because interestingly enough that illness was wiped off the planet thanks to the vaccine (except for a few government deep freezers...). And smallpox also requires booster shots for immunity. Don't confuse Kimmo with science. He went to graduate school, you know.
  20. Hell, seatbelts are not 100% effective either, I guess we should stop strapping infants in.
  21. Once again, a little math: Pertussis vaccine is at best 90% effective. (CDC/WHO) Pertussis vaccine loses efficacy over time (CDC/WHO) So there is at least a 10% chance that you are not immune and could catch it. It also means that 1 in 10 children you come in contact with (higher if you consider that the vaccine may be only 85% effective, and that infants under 6 months are too young for the vaccine) are not immune. You could catch it and spread it to them, at Safeway for instance, increasing their chances of death. So when you make comments like this: it makes you sound uninformed. 90% is better than 0%. Is that all you got? Pertussis is not 100% effective, therefore avoid vaccines?
  22. smallpox innoculations may have even won us the revolutionary war.
  23. Kimmo, would you give your daughter (assuming you have one) the HPV vaccination?
