  1. I just realized I had two of these whiles going thru some older gear I had in storage. I have red w/ black trim (pictured below) and a second one in all black. These are MADE IN THE USA before Patagonia sold off and shipped off in the late 1990s to do their part in the "cheap labour/poor quality song and dance revolution" overseas. These originally sold for $145 and are very warm and versatile. Just as warm as the TNF Denali minus the bulk. Both are in like new, good condition. Stored in a clean room in ziplock baggies. No odors, stains, tears or damage. Both are Men's Medium. You can buy either one of them or both. If only one sells I may end the listing and keep the other one to myself :-) Asking $60 for each or $110 for both. Best Offers are welcomed! PayPal. Easy.
  2. bump.... I understand gas just went up, along with milk and bread and with the way the economy is I just had to do this for you folks. Price lowered to $35. now, who loves yah!?
  3. LMAO at the two comments above! Fromage, Is this one of those Emergency Rescue Jackets made by that Canadian company that makes unbranded work gear for outdoor based workers.I've seen a few on eBay recently. They usually just say GoreTex on the sleeves, and have no tags and they tend to be 2 layers, with a rather cheaply treated DWR paper thin outer and baggy nylon inner and there are almost always off sized, so a medium fits like a small or something like that. I work as an environmental engineer and alot of goverment offices tend to punish us with these types of gear, so I know alot about it. I learned they hard way, now I usually shake my head and wear my own gear in the field. $150 can be a good deal. But you can buy name brand proshells on eBay for that much. good luck.
  4. Gaitors and that Crampon Bags! PM sent.
  5. I use these euro soccer tops for base and mid layers since they are made from clima-cool breathable and wickable polypro material similar to Patagonia's Capalene fabrics. Its also just as light wieght and looks good. Asking $40 or best offer w/ free shipping to you. Great for colder weather rock climbing or alpine climbing or trail running. I just ordered this one but its a little small for me. It is a European Medium and will fit people who usually wear small to medium tops or 38 to 40 suits. The length is about 28 inches along the back aqnd sleeves are about 20 inches from pit to cuffs.
  6. Brand New With Tags. Bought years ago for a trip and never worn. Been sitting in closet on hanger for the last couple of years. Stored uncompressed so the loft is still 100% new. Asking $400 or Best Offer.
  7. With clear spoken direction, the quickest GPS reception on the market and total wireless ability the TOM TOM Go speaks for itself. Charge this baby like a cellphone and you get about 4-8 hours of straight unplugged usage, no ugly wires across your dash, battery life. Or for the really long road trippers you can keep it plugged in during your trip with the low profile car charger. I got this in 2005 for $799 and it paid for itself many times over by preventing me from getting lost and allowing me easy access to many hard-to-find places. Comes with all the maps for USA and Canada on the included CDs and 1 GB Memory Cards, Plus all the original accessories: Car and Wall charger, Maps on CDs, Travel Pouch, Mount Arm, Manuals and Screen protector kit. You can also add and expand Maps for any country on the planet and update your maps whenever you need off the website. We just got a new car with a factory in dash system and I don't need this anymore (otherwise this baby is a keeper.) Asking $100 or best offer plus $10 to ship anywhere in the USA or CA flat rate USPS Priority 2 Day shipping.

  9. There is alot of things wrong with the design of this jacket if you are planning to use it as a thru-hiker/all round use. 1) There is no belay zipper (which also serves as a good vent and allows you to do a poncho-mode for hot wet hikes) 2) The is absolutely NO neck and chin protection since the main zip ends right at the base of the neck. I had the same problem with my Patagonia Super Cell jacket and a few of the recent Patagonia models that went straight to eBay as a result. Wind and Rain get right in there and drip down you chest area. You can wear a neck scarf or heavy duty baclava to remedy this, but you are talking extra weight and perhaps spending more money for what could've been a 3 or 4 inches of extra zipper. 3) That hood looks weak and on the small side. (I think someone mentioned that) 4) In my experiences I don't like fabric material around the cuffs for the velcro catch. It tends to wear off DWR quicker that the other surfaces of your jacket and as a result will soak during a proper downpour giving you heavy, sagging cuffs that get water in your pockets when you put you hands in them. (My TNF Mountain Light gave me that drama). Alot of newer jackets like arcteryx ones remedy this by using rubber material on the velcro cuffs) 5) For $259 you are basically paying for the eVent and the fact that this item is only 11-12 ounces (when dry mind you) off the rack. Myopiion with ultra light shells like the Patagonia Supercell and the Arteryx Alpha SV is that when the temps get below 50 degrees (which is about 70% of the year where I live) and you are outside for a lentgh of time you will end up using the weight saved carrying extra layers and heavier fleece or insulation. I've learned to go with a heavier duty rain shell (16-20 ozs)always and skim on the extra layers which add more weight to your pack. So unless a rain jacket is 25-40 oz weight is not a my buying factor when protection is more important to my overall experience of a good thru hike. Good Luck buddy.
  10. You know, It supposed to fit big so you could trap more warm air inside and layer.
  11. Got this puppy sometime in 2000. Worn like one time during a late fall outing long ago. Been forgotten in the basement at my parents ever since. Just found it and its yours for $100 plus $9 to ship USPS 2-3 Day Priority anywhere in the USA or $12 to ship 4-5 Day Global Priority to Canada. Sweet deal for a classic quality Patagonia Jacket that cost $375 a few years ago. PayPal Accepted. Size: Medium Color: Blue Condition: New without tags
  12. yeah. I was thinking along the same line. BTW, I read somewhere that this is a six layer boot. So that, in addition to that "teflon" inners you speak of, may seem promising in terms of durabiliy.
  13. Just got word of these... On paper they seem like the perfect ice climbing boot replacement for the plastic shell/double boots without loosing thermal protection. I was looking for reviews online but didn't see any. Anyone use these yet? or planning to get them? You can read more about these boots at this website.
  14. Never mind I thought it was the ICE 9000 were in size 42. 8 is way too small for my feet. I can ask my woman if she wants them...but I doubt that.
  15. How much for just the liners? I just need the liners.
  16. Is that water filter in need of anything or will it work outta the bag?
