nuts are cheap, pick up a set or two. Depends on your crag, but cams are great, hexes are worth learning, tri cams are... well I hear that some people LOVE the pink ones. cams and nuts are the base pieces.

That's what I do, and I don't get to wear fuzzy socks. Just white-soled, non-marking shoes. But the coffee and indoor work IS nice. I had to do carpentry for 15 years to get there, though. And I have to deal with clients. yeah, I did that last winter, and loved it, I even got to wear fuzzy socks,but circumstances are such that Im outside for this job. And yes it could always be worse. I think I'll have a beer, see things are lookin' better already
