Yeah, June is a weird month, cold, yet sunny, then cold snaps...kinda annoying. You can get away with some leather boots this time depending on your route and speed, but if your feet get as cold as mine do while sharing a route with groups of weekend warriors who's climbing pattern resembles stop and go traffic near Tacoma on I-5..........then plastics are the ticket to still having a good time.
