Guns in this country are a right not a privilege. Oh yeah....do your homework.....look up how many times the courts has ruled that the 2nd amendment is not the end all. If it is a right, then why do you need a permit? If freedom of speech is a right then why do you need a permit to broadcast over airspace that nobody owns. I agree it should be a right….but I do not believe it is.

Holy crap how did I miss that. If you guys really want to climb pure bolted cracks, you need to drive to eastern OR and climb at a place called Spring Mt. Great climbing, super fun; just leave your ethics in the car. We climbed a popular route there called Flake Off. 5.9. 100% bolted, right next to a crack. I climbed the entire route on gear, and it was not run out.

For someone who doesn't like it when people speak for him (see Infinite Bliss thread) you certainly took it upon yourself to put words in my mouth. I didn't say to make guns illegal. *Personally* I think this would be excellent but I'm not naive enough to expect it to happen. I just think that something needs to change in terms of gun control laws and availability. There has to be a better way. I asked you for your suggestion? Making guns illegal was my idea and it will not work. I do agree...there has to be another way. What....I have no idea. Seahawk is right....bush is trying to take the world over. Right to bear arms comes from a time when a teenager couldn't walk into K-mart and buy an automatic rifle to shoot their classmates with.
