Bush is so power hungry, it is ridiculous. He has stated hypocritical statements so many times it’s pathetic. The Dems need to keep sending the current bill giving him all the funds he needs with a time table back to him over and over and over again until the money runs out and they will have to pull out, just like George Sr. should have.

    Bumper stickers

Yeah, cuz without soldiers, we'd still be British, and you'd have to read it in British. Dood, you grew up in the age of K cars. I grew up in the age of muscle cars... ...although I drove a Beetle. Dude .....have you ever tried to read in british...its hard.
  7. Childcare workers get paid very little above minimum wage. You can get a babysitter for less. Housekeepers get paid about $10/hr when working for someone else. Gardeners can be hired from Millionaires Club for about 7/hr. You can drop your laundry off for 0.30/lb. Just a tad of someone realistic numbers. I wish child care made a little more than minimim wage. Our nanny is getting rich off us.
  8. Sorry....thought this was spray. My bad.

    Bumper stickers

I saw a provocative bumper stickers yesterday. It read…. “If you are reading this, thank a teacher. If you are reading this in English, thank a soldier”. Interesting. I made up a bumper sticker when I was 14 years old. I grew up around muscle cars with big engines. I wanted it to read….. “the difference between a mans toy and a boys toy is…….. about 4000 RPM”

  21. This thread is an abortion. Oh wait….it is actually only a partial abortion of a thread.
  22. I agree, but cannot afford for one of us to not work. I agree to a point. But there is one child to take care of, and not a whole bunch of diseases going around. A nanny was the best option we had. again, just my opinion, but that is a cop out. you can afford anything you want to afford if you make the proper adjustments to your budget. we each live with the consequences of the choices we make. I think that this is one of those times when you need to adjust your thinking to how you live. you like day care, you just don't want your child to go to a center where there are other children diseases etc. Muff….I hear what you are saying and believe me that conversation has taken place in my home. But it comes down to what is best for my son. We could sell our house and go live in a crappy apartment with other screaming kids and parents who beat their kids…..we could live on my salary like that. But is that best for my son. We don’t think so. We bought our current resident because we got pregnant and needed a yard for him to grow in. So if we want him have a very safe place to grow/play/worry free for the parents. Then we both have to work. Once we made that decision then it was nanny or daycare…..we choose nanny. Trust me my house rules and I do think it is the best place to raise children. So……off to work I go.
  23. Unfortunately, I'm already married to the perfect woman, and I will always be married to her through the end of time. I really don't understand dad's who don't like to play with their kids. The best parts of my day are waking up early to make breakfast with my son (my wife gets breakfast in bed each morning), and then the hours of 6-10pm when I play with the kids and put them to bed while my wife gets a chance to relax. What it the world is more fun than playing with kids? you have to be kidding me. this has to be some kind of troll or something no its not...this is very similar to my home... dads! You guys This is how it is at our house, too. My hubby does so much with the kids and around the house I don't know what I'd do without him since I work from home. We're a team. I couldn't imagine it any other way. To all you lazy ass dads out there. I take half of all night time duties currently in my house. I have 7 month old who protests sleep at all costs. My wife and I split the night time feedings. So I know all about sleep depravation. I try to support my wife at all costs. We truly split all duties. And I love it. Being with my son is the best part of my crazy day.
  24. How is that different than 600,000 people dead from our occupaion? Good to see you agree, hypocrite. Hillary is not the problem. The current appointed president is. Abortion is the least of my worries. Getting our nose out of other countries is a much bigger problem. IMO.
