Sponsorship is only defensible when the degree of self-promotion is equal to or less than the significance of the achievement. When Good Climber does something Rad and says, “This is Rad”, that’s fine. Kudos. Too often though, Wanna Be Famous does something mediocre and says, “This is Rad! Really! I swear!” Define "rad"?

I suppose it is all about who you ask. Jim taught me 15 years ago that a + next to 5.0-5.9 means every move is that grade. Like Cruzin for example. I think that is a good explanation for the + when use on climbs graded 5.0-5.9.

My understanding of a 9+ rating is that every move is 5.9. the opdycke crack has a 10 foot section of 5.9. the rest is 5.8 and easier. Meatgrinder is rated 10.c.

I have to disagree with you on that statement. Grades are a weird thing. I watch one guy get on Chain Mail and struggle. Then the next guy gets on it and flashes it and down grades it.....which way to you lean?

I take it by you posting this question. You do not agree. So....why ask in the first place? The only person who can down grade or validate your sends .....is you.

Very sprayworthy. IMO this thread (how ever awesome), needs to be in spray. Dracula IMO is 12.b and Bloodline is 12.a.

Mmmm, yes. What exactly was the ::GRAND PLAN:: here? Occupy Iraq for a continued war that was meant to be sustained (not won), so the government would borrow huge amounts of money from the fed reserve then they would turn around and charge the tax payers interest.
