Well, I went to REI and tried on packs and whaddayaknow? A MEDIUM size frame actually fits great! So now I'm looking for a medium in an Osprey 75. In other packs, the sizing runs differently. Hmmmm. It's something to think about, but 7000 cu. in" might be a little TOO roomy. I might be tempted to bring too much up the mountain. How much were you asking anyway?
