One would think that people who are intelligent, educated, or both would realize that at this point anyone standing in the way of the transparent regulation of derivatives markets should be staked out on fire ant mounds located near africanized bee hives as traitors to their nation. Unregulated derivative trading is the mechanical heart beating out the rhythm and meter of our current economic crisis.

Not really a case of buyer beware - every single one of them is simply a federal loan mill. The entire industry is corrupt - farming those loans is essentially an unaddressed part of the student loan scams. Their primary protector in Congress? Boehner.

Higher Ed is under economic and demographic pressures at the moment, but in some respects pales compared to the federally-supported criminal enterprise that is the entire trade school industry. Everyone involved should be in jail.

I have a couple of those - they're from the late sixties / early seventies and kind of suck.

I'm out of commission this week but can vouch for Sarah - I'd climb with her any time.

The gist of a talk given in 1993 or so at Lewis and Clark College by MIT economist Lester Thurow. Also, be aware that what was done in this country to mortgage, auto, credit card, and student loan debt was also done to the loans to countries like Greece - they were immediately sliced-&-diced and repackaged multiple times to obfuscate them, fraudulently rated, and then sold in unregulated markets. No one really knows who's holding the bag if Greece defaults and that's a big part of the problem. It's really fundamentally no different a scam than was run here so visibly on mortgages and student loans.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. It's been another cold, wet spring and unfortunately we're likely to go long again. Would love for that to be wrong, but it's the way things are looking at the moment. Getting pretty tired of this weather pattern.

Bill, you should drive over to Mist, OR and report back on the one here.
-
And dude! You're missing the big scandal - the Rothschilds owned both the CIA and Sandoz and people think the 'discovery' of LSD was an 'accident'. Right.
-
Kevin, you know he's just two posts away at any time before he gets to the great vaccine conspiracy. So you can just get a jump on it all and post up, but I'm betting it's a good guess your other half makes sure all the vaccinations are up-to-date regardless of anything you might think of the topic.

You're really having trouble with this quote thing...
-
Not really. Shares pay a 6% dividend like clockwork, the rest goes to the treasury - end of story. Luv is irrelevant, facts are, and you are running a heavy deficit in them.

It's definitely an exercise in hyperbola when bolting and the fall of western civilization are contrasted.

Sigh. There is no way to 'own' or 'control' the Fed and that's by design. It all just so misrepresents the Fed, what it is, how it works, and if you just follow the money through it you see how ridiculous the proposition is. If anyone did attempt such a move the same thing would happen here as in France - someone's bank would get nationalized. Hey, some plush folks get their 6% like clockwork, there is no way to up that amount, nor is there any reason to be concerned those checks won't be in the mail. P.S. No one gives a shit about the Rothschilds - everyone, including the Rothschilds, does give a shit about the Chinese (who do 'own' the Fed, if anyone does).

Ok, are your kids up to date on all their vaccines? Nice deflection JH. Now lets here your ideas on all of this. Instead of just telling joblo7 that he is full of it. What do you think? k I'm trying to ascertain whether you aare trolling or have the conviction of your doubts - so are their vaccinations up to date?
-
The Reserve system is private the rothschilds do not 'own' a controlling interest in any of the twelve and the system is not controlled by European 'Jews'.

Ok, are your kids up to date on all their vaccines?

Your link says this: That second sentence is entirely fabricated, as in not true or, as we commonly say, false. Did you just not bother to fact check that assertion? And is jewishness "evil" or "light"?
-
This would all go faster if you'd just get straight to the David Icke links...
-
futurestorm? Seriously? Could we just move right along, skip the middle part and get to where reptilian jews implant man-machine interfaces into newborns... P.S. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=mitterrand+rothschild+1981+nationalization

PM or show up to join us.

Wait a minute - this whole thread turned on the notion of the Rothschilds being all powerful and able to give thumbs up or down on the lives of presidents. I post up that it's common knowledge a president ass-raped the Rothschilds without repercussions and you don't have any comment? Uh, cough, umm, moving right along, nothing to see here, ignore that man behind the curtain... Ha ha ha, ha ha ha! Now that is rich, I mean really good. Dude, the pentagon doesn't have a four year plan let alone a 50 year plan. China has something close to 50 year plan - well, actually just a thousand year old map of China's influence. Get a grip, we and pentagon are rudderless by way of comparison. And let's see, 'dark', 'penta', 'hidden'? Hmmm, it all starts sounding vaguely subclinical and coded.

As I've said, Chicago isn't and never has been a "hope and change" sort of town - it's a town of hard-fought, backroom compromises with an emphasis on 'compromise' and no sharp turns. I voted for Hillary who does not have a compromising personality, but rather an 'fuck you' instinct with a nose for payback.
-
pretty much. Well then you'd think Mitterrand wouldn't have survived when he nationalized the Rothschilds' holdings in the 80's and royally pissed the whole clan off; instead he died of prostate cancer at the ripe old age of 79.

sorry to hear that. Breathtaking really after about the fourth or fifth one. Funny though, the older the money in generations the more dysfunctional and eccentric most family members get. Really not a bad argument for an inheritance tax that goes up 10% with each successive generation. Been around a few families who made their money in whale oil, and then by investing in railroads, oil, and autos no member of the family has had to work since about the beginning days of railroad. Not really a pretty picture these days, though.
