I think we need evaluate our military role and goals in general. We should think about cutting out bases, reducing our strength, etc. It's not just Iraq and Afghanistan. I'd support some higher taxes, but only with concomitant spending reductions. And I will not favor new taxes to fund NEW huge, costly gov't programs.
