Congress did no such thing. A handful of Senators and Congressmen did, however. Dude, that's the kind of bullshit we don't need in this country. Your comment above is just as evasive and rationalizing as this pathetic comment below: When asked by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-Rhode Island, if waterboarding was constitutional, Mukasey responded "I don't know what's involved in the techniques. If waterboarding is torture, torture is not constitutional." http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/10/18/mukasey.hearing/index.html

just go to the store and ask for a bottle. they'll get you the right size. do they still have drive through liquor stores in FL? that was the best! So yesterday, I did just that. Parked at a liquor store. Then, after making my purchase, I went to the Sloop. Fuckers towed my truck. I was so pissed, I called and asked where the fuck my truck was. They asked what my truck looked like. I said it was a white pickup. They asked what kind. I said the kind with my fucking dog in it. They said I better come get it; so I asked how the fuck was I supposed to get there since they had my goddam truck. When I showed up to the tiny little tow place to pay my damn $300 ticket, I apologized for being such a bitch. They were all nice to me and complimented me on my dog. Then, I learned that I got to pay for a parking ticket on top of the goddam tow charge. I wished the deer were still in the back. Assholes. LOL. Something like that happened to me in college on a ski trip. We rented a condo and packed it with about 30 people. There was no room for the 7 cars we had driven up so I parked on the street. It snowed that night and they towed a whole row of cars. There were NO signs warning of this. The towing guys charged me like $180 (cash). I had to get a ride to an ATM and then to them. Plus I got a $50 parking ticket and could not contest it without driving 3 hours each way. Total BS. I was so pissed I didn't go skiing again for 12 years.

I wonder if he consider's Indians to be inferior, "coloreds" too...

and when congress singles out individual citizens for "repudiation" letters, that's totally fine, doesn't phase you hypocrites at all.
-
This "repudiation letter" is a disgrace, reminiscent of Stalinist Russia where a citizen is singled out by the government formally. WTF? I'm surprised they didn't call him an "enemy of the state". Of course our liberal friends aren't worried about this at all. I'm glad the letter will go to a good end.

exactly I never heard the term half-rack when I was in Cali, but definitely out here.
-
Oh yeah, it does mean 12. I'm a retard. yes, here in WA a half rack means twelve.

another v7 post. WTF, people??!?!?!?!
-
I resemble that remark. soon...
-
gee, isn't that what the Nobel laureate said?
-
True enough. Craig was just being hypocritical with respect to sex. Like Clinton. So that is forgivable. Gore on the other hand is being a hypocrite w/r/t an issue of vital importance. That is unforgivable. Kind of reminds of that bumper sticker "when Clinton lied...".
-
I see. You comment only applies to people you deem as worthy of getting a free pass because of their "complexity".
-
you cannot defines omething you cantf athom care to expand? since i have no idea what you are talking about.... don't tell him... that'll teach him for not paying attention to every cc.com spray topic
-
Gee, you're taking this personally. BTW, are you a simpleton who can't see that Bushie is a complex creature? Or do you only apply this standard when it is convenient to you?
-
Krugman and the NYT?? That's like a right-winger quoting FOX or Rush! Regarding Mr. Gore, I'll bring us back to one of our perenniel themes at cc.com. I'll point out that we just had a nice long thread about our toe-tapping congressman, where are you lefties pontificated about how you were not bothered by the fact that the guy is a closet gay, or that he has public sex, no, no, no. His cardinal sin is HYPOCRISY. He opposed gay rights legislation, he engaged in "anti-gay" rhetoric, but now proves to be gay. This hypocrisy is unforgivable and you belabored the point to death. Well, guess what my friends, Al Gore is a far bigger hypocrite than Larry Craig - pontificating about the global crisis, carbon footprint, and receding glaciers while he lives a profligate lifestyle. So, he must be judged by the same standards committing the cardinal sin of hypocrisy. Right? Be careful in your answer, for if you say "no", then YOU are a hypocrite as well - saying one thing in one circumstance while saying the opposite in another.

because people perceive Nobel Prize winners as being very special individuals who have contributed to human progress. this perception has become weaker with each passing year...
-
Dude, your typicing wouldn't exist invention of a "tarnished" Nobel Prize winner - or are you too dim to remember Shockley How did V7 get your cc.com password?
-
It tarnishes the Nobel when one of its recipients turns out to be a racist; just as it tarnishes the prize to give it to someone who has done nothing to earn the prize. Gore is an assclown and a hypocrite; don't need a "syndrome" to know that. But THAT is ANOTHER thread.
-
Naw, you're crazy. BTW, I'm heading to Nepal next month and I'd like some beta on chomolungapalooza.
-
linky and this from a SCIENTIST!
-
Only Trashie will be left behind; the rest of us will be taken up in the rapture.
-
Yes, we do. There is an inexhaustible quantity of BS that you are willing to put forth; you are more interested in the perception that you prevail in an argument than in accuracy. Amen, brother.
