  1. Really? They're not supposed to pack up and move to another school? (cf. gunfire outside Tommy's and my apartment) Are you really trying to compare living by a bar and hearing a couple of gunshots to school massacres? The situation at your apartment is lame (and I hope your are able to safely resolve it w/out moving), but so is your analogy. When's the last time 32 people were killed outside your aparment, much less one?
  2. Cho should have been a blow job. That's the most important issue here - too much procreation, not enough blow jobs.
  3. Werd. I obviously misread your post. I agree, no one want's the Man's Big Hairy Eyeball scrutinizing their johnson (or iPod).
  4. Ivan, You make a good point. You say, however, that you're willing to sacrifice certain liberties (i.e. gun ownership, privacy) in order to prevent violence. Isn't that a bit of a slippery slope, especially w/ regards to medical/psychological records? Should we permit the state to examine phych records before gun purchases? If so, then shouldn't we then let Homeland Security review psych records prior to boarding an airplane (profile terrorists and stuff)? How about library records? School records? How much privacy are you willing to sacrifice for the sake of (((security)))?
  5. If it was that serious, the highlight of your day shouldn't be getting eye fucked. . . 8D
  6. Maybe you should consider the humiliation approach Drugs are for losers. That's all I can say.
  7. An idle threat back in the day, but now there is a permanent record - teh interwebz . . . a very important lesson to teach your kids.

Blind Melon Are they going to try and tour w/out Shannon Hoon?
  11. Are you proposing a new legislative standard? Only pass laws that will be effective 100% of the time? I suppose it's easier to support an anti-regulatory position by pointing to tragic and media-friendly instances where regulations fall short. The instances (and I'm certain they are out there) where gun regulations deterred violence (or the scope of violence) are probably quite difficult to quantify, and certainly don't provide fodder for media vultures. I really can't see a CNN headline discussing how someone wasn't killed.
  12. thin sure beats out big fake pamela titties.
  13. Spanish supermodels are much more interesting than school massacres and gun control.
  14. You guys are no fucking different. The first thing out of many of your mouths, in reaction to this tragedy, is how guns should be banned. Good point. There is no difference whatsoever between a statement by the president's press secretary responding to a national tragedy and spray on a climbing website in response to the same.
  15. Wow. Your pictures are stellar.
  16. Here is a freak I never agree with but have to here. rip.
  17. That's absurd. The person did the killing with a gun . You can fairly argue that an individual's (and society's) libery interest in unfettered gun ownership outweigh the burden of the occassional massacre, but don't deny that guns were an integral piece of this event.

    Rate the commute

Backdoor --> office chair, including post-ride shower, = 30 minutes. Sorry for the confusion.

    Rate the commute

Commuting from Ballard to Downtown involves a bike and about 30 minutes. Commuting from Ballard to the eastside involves being fucking stoopid.
  22. Am I the only one that doesn't understand this? Translation = Mission Ridge is too steep for smithisheaven
