Why would the rules be different for a male whose SO is the climber/non-climber and the female whose SO is the climber/non-climber? Just b/c I am a female doesn't mean I don't have the same issues as the guys on this site with the climbing gig? Or is it your assumption that every guy is just a natural climber and every chick is a natural lounger?

I've always climbed with my SO. Never had a problem. What's the fucking big deal?

I hate to respond to one of your many creepy fucking posts, but I just have to inform you that WA has a pretty clear statutory rape law. There are "years of seperation" between the victim and the perp depending on the victim's age. The scale starts at 12 years old and younger. But I am sure you already knew that. Anyway, is this new poster real or not? I am heading back to BZN soon and wouldn't mind getting some climbing in. What's up?

I tore a pec. It was a full evulsion and was one of the most painful things I have ever experienced. I actually heard it pop. There were no warnings and there was a definite change in appearance. There is still a palpable scarring where it was sewn back together. If you have a full tear or detachment, you will know. A smaller tear will heal on its own in time.

2nd Amendment freedoms restored in National Parks?
archenemy replied to Fairweather's topic in Spray
To lay out the shit everyone already knows about me and don't need to bother using as a point to discredit me with I own guns I hunt I carry a gun with me to my place in Index and back I have had run ins with animals that could damage me The worst ones were the times I didn't have a gun with me I have never killed an animal in self-defense I have been charged by animals aiming to kill me I used to live by the Yellowstone park I have climbed Denali during bear season I've seen a lot of bears. They are scary OK, the boring stuff is over. Should people be able to hunt in Nat'l parks? Absolutely! The herds often grow beyond their space and cause problems. For example, when I lived in WYS, a lot of ranchers lost thier beef b/c bison would carry and transmit brucillus (forgive my spelling) which would kill the cows. Bison were only carriers. They'd outgrown (in numbers) their area and were posing a threat to the livestock that has since moved in and defined the bison's territories. I know that's shitty, but that is what is up. So it is completely reasonable that the park should hold a hunt to get the numbers back down to what they can manage. BTW: Yellowstone allows fishing in its five rivers; and there is a limit. IOW: it is not all catch and release. Hunting in the park would be the same. And to minimize danger to tourists, the hunts can be carried out when other folks aren't there. Winter is great for hunting Elk, Bison, Cougar, and late Bear. Hell, they could sponsor hunts and make a lot of money off it. Now that, my friends, is the American way! -
Anyone on for Sat? Afternoon would be great; aid would be fun. Who's up?

He's so right though. What self-respecting man would date a girlie who would dare challenge him?

Are we speaking about all of Islam here? Yeah, all this racism is confusing. Clarification please! YES, I SPEAK OF ALL AND KNOW ALL. EVERY WORD I SAY SHOULD BE TAKEN AS GOSPEL AND NOT AS A GENERAL STATEMENT OF OPINION. I HAVE NO TIME TO LIST THE MANY EXCEPTIONS THAT ALL PEON READERS WOULD LIKE INCLUDED. Get real. A person can't make a general statement from their own observations or opinions anymore without lame-ass freaks jumping all over it and trying to "discredit" a basic opinion by saying that golly gee wilikers not every single instance could possibly be included/covered in this. Yes, it is my general opinion, not only for people in Islam but for people all over the world, that human beings desire freedom. They will fight for it to the death. And every group of people that I have ever read about that has been oppressed by others (via religion, force, economic warfare, whatever) fight for more freedom. The conclusion that Prole made that my opinion somehow makes me a racist is an interesting one. Have no clue how the followers of Islam suddenly became a race or how I (a person who believes that the introduction of freedoms into any oppressed group will change that group) suddenly became a racist. Especially against a group of people whom I put effort into understanding by reading their religious text and studying their language. I am confounded. So I guess it is me who needs the clarification.

What are you talking about?

Mine is back up. I took your bride though, so you have nothing to hurry back to your acct for.

I'd like to know when "culturally insensitive" just becomes a nod to a different culture (with a bit of humor thrown in). When we lose the ability to laugh at ourselves, we lose our humanity. And when we lose the ability to brush of some of the things that people say and don't mean to be offensive with, we lose the ability to just communicate with our fellow man.

Good one. Find me one of those and I'll introduce you to the Easter Bunny.

The "moderate" islamic folk will be easy to "eradicate" soon as the fanatics lose their grip. When people have some freedom, they usually want more.

You should get the upgraded version.

absentee ballot for the dead; that is funny on so many levels. It's like Mormons baptizing their dead ancestors. Funnnnny.

My dog voted.
-
And gee, make sure you vote. That way, you don't have to do any other civic duty and still feel good about yerself.

slushy with hardpack under. I left my teles in the truck and only alpined it. Little rough, but nothing to complain about.

The most important issue of this election is that we pick a new president. Yup, that's it.

Skied last night at Stevens and it was empty. I had whole runs to myself. Thank goodness, I'd hate to be shown up by a five year old (wouldn't be the first time, either!).
-
Yes. But only mine.

Oh my gosh! We should immediately disregard everything the man said!

Thurgood Marshall was an incredible man. I haven't read a biography about him directly, but many of the biographies I've read (about folks who shaped our "modern" legal world) mention him and his accomplishments. The impact he's had on people is impressive. As for CT, what's up with this? "Leaning back in his leather chair, often looking up at the ceiling, Thomas takes it all in, but he never joins in" How the hell do they know he is "taking it all in"?
