  1. I'm ready.
  2. that's OK -- we used to think men under 30 were cool. then we realized how much work it is to train them *where's the whip cracking icon when i need it* I love women over 30 and pay extra for whip-cracking. Well then come right in and make yourself comfortable.
  3. Unless she's over 30
  4. Again, I thank you for your advice. You guys are a goldmine of info. Is buying a used beacon a really stupid idea, or are there some good deals out there? If new ones are the only way to go, where can I order/purchase from?
  5. Way to go, Catshitleak
  6. It was a good guess though.

By "completed" do you mean "finished them off"? Nothing gets by you.

This release does not say I have to be a black man to compete. I have completed quite a few male adventurers and I don't mind what color my competitors are.
  15. arch, My comment was not meant to allude to any faux pas that you may or may not have committed. It was intended solely for my own inadequacies, and bears no reflection upon you. As for self-denigration, if we can't laugh at ourselves, then at whom can we laugh? I wasn't passing on a "kudo" for your s-d remark, but only noting that s-d humor is an admirable trait, and by inference, indicative of an advanced intellect. From what I have read of your posts, I find that to be true. Quit being so defensive: you already know what I think of you.

  18. Classic! I'll have to remember that one to explain some of my own faux pas. Self-denigration is an admirable trait. I can't help but notice that when I post my opinion (one that differs from the crowd here), I get slammed. When I say something that is self-deprecating (which BTW, was not indended as an admission of any faux pas), I get kudos. Kinda lame. And another thing: Like every other person I have met in my life, Greg has different opinions on things than I do. Like few people I have met in my life, he has taken the time to educate himself on what he is talking about. He asks questions about shit he doesn't know, and he thinks through issues before formulating his stance. Then he stands behind it and can make logical, consistant arguments to back up what he thinks. I find this a rare character trait. I find it an admirable one.
  19. gosh you guys are clever. so witty. so original.

Geeky, lame question here: does the "gimble" here relate to a gimble like on a flight instrumentation panel?

  23. Probably more than strong ones: it's easier to catch and tie down the weak ones.
