  1. Keep it in spray
  2. Though the rock fall off the girth pillar in the early 90's did not alter/change the 11c rating on Nelson/Lewis's line on the Girth Pillar a more direct variation exists right next to it that feels more like 10d/11a
  3. I remember once upon a time thinking that too.
  4. IPA it is When you moving down? I wonder how hard it is to get rezoned as a church... no height limitations there I could reopen the 24 hour church of elvis or better yet start a new cult... Drytooler's Witness? Seventh Day Adventurist? The church of jesus twight of latter day drytoolers? I nominate Ivan to be the pastor
  5. Does anyone know what the ordinance is for maximum height of a structure in a residential zone in the city of Portland? I.e. If I wanted to erect 1 (or more) telephone poles on my property what is the maximum height I am allowed? 6 pack if you can tell me what it is...
  6. Bring the family and call it a family activity. Must see alpine p0rn...
  7. John Scurlock is showing slides and you don't have to pay for gas... what are you waiting for? Hook it up
  8. PDXers! Is anyone planning on driving up to this? I'm flying back from PHX that day and am considering flying into SEA instead of PDX and just catching a ride back to PDX (assuming someone comes up) after the slideshow. If you drive up and give me a ride back I would be willing to pay for your gas both ways! You know you want to come... John Scurlock is showing slides!
  9. Bolts are there. Jim took the wrong size bolt/drill on the first ascent so the bolts are undersized to the holes they are in. There isn't a bolt ladder... just a lone bolt protecting a lot of hard face climbing.
  10. I believe one of the Skoogs did it on the 50th anniversary of the original traverse or something like that...
  11. Second week of August. Gunsight isn't exactly "on the way" and if you attempted Jim's route you would have to carry OW gear and a bolt kit the entire traverse If you insist on Gunsight Beckey's route would be best as you could climb it in boots with minimal rock gear and tag both summits. Check the TR Index for common dates for the PT.
  12. Nice pics d00d! What's the story w/ this one?
  13. West Face is missing bolts. East Face is gone/significantly altered.
  14. Cesspool? Yes. But more people = more chances to find rideshares.
  15. New forum! New forum! New forum! You should also have info on MPG they get and categories for driving style... grandma, Oregonian, Californian, suspended license...
  16. If you want to carpool from PDX or me to bring you a 6 pack of TG IPA holla.
  17. Anyone else thinking about coming out call me
  18. Kinda sounds like city of rocks/castle rock state park to me
  19. The PDX thread is updated anytime anyone is looking to climb on a particular date in/around PDX (hence 25 pages and counting). Last week we had 7 people one night... chances are you should be able to find some potential partners... I would encourage you to keep an eye on it and try and come out a few times.
  20. I could be at rocky around 4:30. If you want to climb call me: 503.758.5772 Also: headed to smith tomorrow if anyone is interested...
  21. Booty call! I scored 4 biners, 2 slings and a cam last year on Saber thanks in part to those intermediates
  22. Come try out and meet potential partners:
  23. I'll look for you tonight. I'm coming back to PDX Sat evening.
  24. Who's headed down?
