  1. Cheers, I would love to hike into the area, but I live 1253 miles from said location. Evil or not, the idea of der verbottenwand has it's own appeal...Any Photos?
  2. Beckey calls the E. face of Three fingers "A 2000' sheer wall of EVIL APPEARANCE that has not attracted climbers...'' Has any living soul with a camera ever visited this area?
  3. I saw bigfoot. (well, he saw me...then I ran away.)
  4. B-7...Miss!
  5. Sorry, I do not know the fellow in said thread... The interplay of ideas reminds me of playing "Battleship." What everyone does not know is, I have no ships on my side of the board. Fire when ready! L. Granite
  6. Ed, That is a thing of beauty... good job. Enjoyed the site, L. Granite
  7. Grizz, No. Are you the bear off that show where the guy and the bear were friends and they had all those adventures? I remember you when we went to the Olympic game farm...do you remember me? I was the 8 year old blond boy with his grandmother... Loved the show, L. Granite
  8. Here is short form: You: bearded, frustrated, dork. Me: having sex with a live woman. Snaffle or not, I'm just funnier than you. Sorry, L. Granite
  9. It was love at first sight... and by the way, that's Mrs. Granite to you. She calls you guys "hopeless dorks"and wonders how you ever manage to score.... I think that she might be right.

  12. I like the idea of no numbers. It keeps us honest.
  13. Amen. Now, if you all will open your bibles to psalm 69...
  14. This area sets a standard for what climbing can be. The folks put this out exemplify virtues that we all can learn from. Here it is, come and climb. Enjoy, respect, celebrate the spirit of climbing. From what I saw, they did not even post any grades.
  15. Just wondering... Does this mean you don't want a christmas card? Season's Greetings, L. Granite
  16. Do you see what I mean?
  17. what's the deal with quoting everything that is said by the post before? Some of us do read the rest of the thread... The whole thing seems like a crutch for the humor-impaired. Thoughts?
  18. I look like the Pillsberry dough boy! He He!
  19. You ARE mad! I'm touched..
  20. Sounds like somebody is still a little sensitive about his song. For the record...it was very nice.
  21. Among those who have tails, folks who just have a piece of tail are frowned upon... Stub-tails are the pariahs of the tail world.
  22. Tails are more common than one might suspect. Chances are, somebody who is reading this has (or had) a tail. We know you have one.
  23. Dru, you just beat the rest of us to the punchline!! On a more sinister note, it smells like sabotoge... A radical faction of the Mountaineers took responsibility for the bombing of a bridge east of Seattle today. This is the latest in a series of attacks against the "Mixed" climber crowd... Mixed climbers, a distant relative of snowboarders, represent the latest threat to the 97 year old climbing organization's reign of terror.. A press release from the Mountaineers summarized the violent response to the new climbs: "These climbs are the worst thing to happen to climbing in Washington since Charlie Bell's 1960 solo ascent of the Willis Wall." Sources close to the mixed climbers say the damage is not serious, but that several projects may have to wait until the repairs are made. It is rumored that the mixed group is planning to start "retro mixed sending" many popular summertime rock climbs in retaliation. "Barney's Rubble is first, then if the Violence does not stop, we will be forced to climb Bruce's boulder next"...
