  1. I am sending this out for my wife....her backcountry ski partner recently moved east and she is looking for someone to get out with for short BC days - generally in the Snoqualmie pass area. She randonee skis and boards and is intermediate - advanced. We live in North Bend We have two kids so we do lots of swapping - so the more she gets out....the more I get out!
  2. Wall haulers are absolutely useless - get a traxion
  3. No bindings.....TLT's are way to hard to come by...unless you want to pay retail on them
  4. I have a pair of hard to find Fischer AirCarbon randonee tour boards for sale in the 173 cm length. They have barely been skiied and were previously mounted with dynafit TLT bindings with an adjustement for either size 9 or size 10 boots (heel piece drilled 2x). They are a twin-tip design for better turn transition during mountaineering descents. They are also super light! $150 shipped FS: Fischer AirCarbon Randonee Skis (twintips) - 173 cm Picture here: http://www.telemarktalk.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=24922
  5. Hey, does anyone know about the K2 friends and family factory sale on Vashon? Is it worth the drive out there....?
  6. I thought it was inversely proportionate to your units size....to make up for the lacking ego....

  14. The bag is the Grade IV......Perfect for shorter walls where a big bag is overkill and that day pack you're running is just not up to the task. 29" tall, 15" bottom, 5100 cu.in. Constructed with all the features of our Deluxe Haul including the new suspension system, a reinforced drain hole, and the super tough White Vinyl or on occasion, various other colors, that should last longer than your mind. Spam is for scale only, and is not included with any haul bag purchase.
  15. My fish haul bag has made two big wall attempts....the best being two pitches off the ground on Moonlight Buttress. So I think it is time for me to give up the big wall notions and sell the thing. $50 takes it It is in pretty darn good shape, no tears and looks clean. I also have a set of aiders (anyone that calls them etriers is a dork ) made by Onsite out of Squamish. These are brand new 6 steps that match BD aiders exactly (step placing etc..). $20 takes these Pm me with an email and I can send you pics.

  17. Need another pig for a route next week and can't get one soon enough - anyone have an extra bag that they can part with......living in the Seattle area and no I don't want an old GI army bag
  18. That reminds me of these pegs that some British climbers put on the "old man of Hoy" sea stack off of northern Scotland. There is a 5.10 chimney pitch that can only be protected by these huge old wood dowls.....supposedly the same as the ones placed by the first party. Lets fix all the alpin offwidths in the State with wood so that we don't have to carry big heavy cams anymore!!!!
  19. You have got to be kidding me - search the site before posting this!!
