I wouldn't worry too much about theoretical socialized medicine programs when the current chimp in the White House and the Republican controlled Congress can't keep their greedy hands out of the cookie jar. I think it's pretty ironic that conservatives are always gnashing their collective teeth about tax and spend liberals when their elected representatives have been on a spending spree since 1997.

don't quite know if anyone is interested in this or what but i saw this job posted on one of the job boards i keep an eye on. it's a local company that does seafloor surveys and they need a network admin. you'd have to be willing to spend 2 months a year at sea (sometimes internationally). thought someone here might be interested. i just thought it was interesting and wanted to see the original article without Elder's spin. besides, we all know no Republican would ever lie about their sex life...... if the study was done in the last 4 years, i can well understand how they'd be unhappy. doesn't take a scientific study to guess that.

could be true. would like to see the error bars on those conclusions. sounds a lot like a blog entry though and you normally cite references. could be the bloggers interpretation of the reference. please provide missing reference for us scientific types.
