On windsurfing in Hood River... I think it was in there pretty recently... if anyone has a copy or knows the date of the issue I would greatly appreciate it. I can't find it anywhere... maybe too much sun?? Thanks!!!

I was up in WA pass, it was just a short 5.5ish pitch on the sw rib of the s early winter spire. Fun stuff!!!

So I lead my first trad pitch this weekend... It d! I was apprehensive to do it, but my partners were super positive and enouraging... I could have been content for quite some time to just follow others up routes. Doing that was within my comfort zone. But my partners had faith in me(and they weren't gonna lead it because they knew I could, so it was either climb or bivy on the ledge.) so I just took the rack and went for it. Now I can't wait to lead again! Moral of the story: sometimes you need a little push to bring you up to the next level. Thanks guys for the encouragement! (you know who you are) You're the best!

Me too! On my last truck, I had a platform in the back that was just high enough to fit gear or the flat rubbermaids underneath. I had a few planks going across the bed at that height for support and then cut out plywood to fit in perfectly, around the wheel wells and such. That way I could hide all the expensive stuff underneath and there was plenty of room up above to sleep, etc... It ed!

I've got the Columbia river gorge, Hood, Adams, and a bunch of tanned windsurfing babes!

The sad thing is... after I finished posting this, what did I go and drink? A PBR...

It was a most excellent long weekend over here as well... No climbing, no windsurfing, but still an amazing time. I'm still smiling! Don't great weekends make the work week so much easier?
