First off four days out in the woods is exactly what the doctor ordered. climbin, fishin, huntin, drinkin... Went campin Gaper style this weekend. Headed up the upper Willamette, hills creek Reservoir area. Fishing was had, I caught twelve nice rainbow trout, but no one else in camp managed to even snag one... grasshoppers in the heat of the day, black nymphs and yellow catis during the morning and evening trips... good stuff! Mrs Fejas fishing in camp = good stuff! Huntin consisted of grouse and quail. took the bird dog to fetch-em up for me... brought home four grouse and three quail... Drank way to much!!! Five cases of beer, one fifth of Crown Royal, one fifth of Jim beam, One fifth of rum... my head hurt every morning .... Fighting off the hang over... Ahh yes, and now to the climbing... Could have been better if I would have had a partner that I trusted to belay me on sketch choss. HHHMMMM! Wish I would of had a Certain CC.comer to belay me on some sick trad lines I found. So we did more scoutin and freein easy stuff then climbin lines, but oooo daddy, some projects climbs to come... Mostly blocky, a few cracks where found, and chimneys galour... Never could find our way to the base of the six/eight pitch walls, but the cragy masses perching atop the ridges are my new prime suspects... ooo ooo ooo and there where a few boulders to be had, some strange blocks stacked on top of each other, no pics of them though. Prime Choss - Steeple Rock an easy free on Steeple Rock... Some nice routes could be had around to each side of this face, one pitch, looked any where from 5.7 to 5.10... This one is undisclosed for the moment, until I through a couple line up it... Like Tex said in another thread, with a brush not a drill ... the picture doesn't do it justice... And... The walls in the back ground scoped better from closer and through the binos...

Doin some fishin, some secrate cragin, some upland game huntin, some beer drinkin, some good grub eatin, and some all around enjoyin the outsydoors...
