Yeah I wish I was like rumr and weighed in at about 130, then I'd be a climbing badass!!! I'm 5'10" 148, and there is no reason to hit the weight room! you don't need pumping iron muscles, you need climbing muscles. All these huge dudes come into the gym at western and can't climb a thing. All about the certain muscles

DFA chain reaction beta shirts Too bad the beta is like a 5 page paper. Took me 20 minutes to print all of it out. What you should have made up is a shirt from the Tuft love fest. Just get like 20 made up, and have a top ten events of the weekend on the back or something: 1. Layton and Erik kegstands 2. Looking for DFA 3. Getting drunk 4. Getting stoned 5. Climbing 6. Hitting on the women 7. Taking pictures of GaperT while he's sleeping 8. Looking at Paco in his Wifebeater 9. Eating Horsecock 10. Spraying that is my humble attempt at humor, didn't work, but something along those lines. I would buy one for sure!

didn't get on toxic or heresy (people on both when I was near them), chain didn't go, but I made progress so that is good, can't complain. One tuft move at a time....

haha, yeah this weekend my goal is to finish the climb with lots of hangs, then maybe two more weekends for the redpoint. I'm trying to be realistic with myself, but all I want to do is redpoint.......

I've done it on TR, but I fall at the same place every time on lead, but the last time I tried leading it was May, so I think I could do it now. I still need to get on toxic, never tried it and really want to this weekend. Yeah I'll be on chain flailing again, I feel pretty good now though and I got new beta (fingers crossed) see you there!

yeah I heard it went free at 13c, in europe long sport routes like that are all over the place! US is just behind in that realm of climbing IMHO

I would go for it! I've done it before. As long as you know when to stop if a muscle feels a bit odd. Of course I trust you know when something doesn't feel right, but that is the only downside IMHO. What you're talking about is essentially like a full day of outdoor bouldering. Basically go for a few hours in the morning, rest and eat, then go again in late afternoon/evening. shouldn't be too different in a gym

I did SLC to Seattle or vice versa 4 times this summer. About 12 hours if go 5-8 over the limit. 10.5 if you really push it (only do this on weekdays, I got a ticket my last time down)
